Scandals, conflicts, and natural disasters. If that’s what we see on TV and social media 24/7, it's no wonder we’re struggling with depression, anxiety, and apathy – and Covid has only made matters worse.

Media outlets operate according to the decades-old “if it bleeds, it leads” mantra. We are more likely to pay attention to bad news, and since that’s what keeps newsrooms going, negative stories dominate the narrative. We’re here to fix this imbalance.

Every day, from Monday to Friday, we browse the internet to find stories about inspiring people, innovations, and solutions to eco-social problems. The result: five good news editions a week – each made up of the six most uplifting and relevant stories from around the world.

Whether it be clean energy, animal rights, recycling, social justice, biodiversity, global health, or technological advancements, we will make sure to cover all relevant aspects of life.

This app has been my recent joy. Its an uplifting way to engage with the world and hear about international news you wouldn't otherwise hear. They are always great conversation pieces and it's a really good spread of environment, tech, politics and social movements. It makes me feel braver to face the other news in the world. I only wish there were more posts :) I highly recommend it!

I don't think this is updated enough. Also, for accessibility and comfort during browsing, it would be better to scroll down rather than swipe right. This is a wonderful idea for an app, though, I think I've already subscribed to the newsletter some time ago.

As someone who has depression, sees the world only negatively, and thinks that everything is just getting worse, I am very grateful for this app. Keep it up, you're doing a great job! It's generally important for people to see not only bad news but also good news, it's really toxic that other news sources constantly focus on the negative...
