About this app

Dienstplan is the simple way for shift workers and side-job holders to keep track of working hours, overtime and vacation for one or several employers – fully offline, no registration required. Available in English and German.

DASHBOARD WITH THE NUMBERS THAT MATTER
• Overtime card: your current plus/minus balance up to today, listed per employer
• Per employer: hours worked, hours already planned and the monthly target
• Next shift and next vacation, including remaining vacation days
• Vacation and sick days of the month – the vacation row can be shown or hidden per employer

PLAN YOUR SHIFTS
• Week view with quick navigation and one-tap shift assignment
• Month view showing calendar weeks and weekdays at a glance – tap a day to open the entry directly
• Create your own shift types (e.g. early, late, night shift) with a fixed duration
• Copy whole weeks or months with a single tap
• Quick-add button for a shift, free-form time entry or sick day from any screen

MULTIPLE EMPLOYERS
• Add as many employers as you like, e.g. main job and side job
• Choose per employer: fixed shift schedule or free-form time tracking
• Lump-sum entry: type just the number of hours, start and end time are derived from your default start time and break
• Set individual working days per employer, so only the relevant weekdays are selectable
• Color coding for a quick overview
• Yearly overview right in the employer list: hours worked, overtime, vacation taken and remaining

• Set a default employer – always shown first on the dashboard
• A setup wizard walks you through creating an employer step by step

OVERTIME & VACATION AT A GLANCE
• Automatic overtime calculation, including public holidays and vacation days
• Target-vs-actual comparison based on your weekly-hours profile
• Enter a starting overtime balance instead of back-filling years of shifts
• Record and document overtime payouts
• Remaining vacation carries over: unused days are added to next year's entitlement automatically
• Optional expiry date per employer (e.g. March 31) – the app warns you well before the deadline

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS FOR GERMANY, AUSTRIA AND SWITZERLAND
• Automatic calculation for all 16 German states, 9 Austrian states and 26 Swiss cantons
• Yearly holiday overview, individual holidays can be switched off
• Add your own holidays or company shutdowns manually

TRACK MORE WHEN YOU NEED IT
• Record travel time separately and pay it at its own rate (factor or fixed amount per hour)
• Daily log: assign activities with durations to a working day, including remembered suggestions
• Record sick days – they do not reduce your hours worked

STATISTICS
• Breakdown by month, year and total period
• Split by employer and shift type

PERSONALIZABLE
• Choose the app's accent color from several presets
• Light or dark mode, or simply follow the system setting

What’s new

New: overtime card on the dashboard — shows your current plus/minus balance up to today for each employer; tap it to open the overtime overview. The "Vacation this month" row can now be shown or hidden per employer (off by default, switch in the employer form).
