What is "musical hearing"?
If you are e.g. a song-writer and want to take your skills a step further this is a good app to take a step forward.
Imagine you are under the shower, on the toilet, at work, at school, on the bus, in your car, basically somewhere where you can't get your instrument out. But you have this amazing melody in your head. You can sing it, but unless you get your instrument out and try to play it, you don't know what the musical notes are. By the time you get to it, you forgot the melody. :-(
Training your "musical hearing" will allow you - eventually - to score the melody in your mind, making it MUCH more likely that you will remember it. If you do have at least pen and paper at hand you can even scribble it down.
The first step to do that is being able to "hear" individual musical intervals. If you go through the suggested exercises of this app you will take the first - and most important - step to achieve what is described above.
