Even if the exhibition “MärchenWald” of the Swabian district in Schloss Höchstädt is not open at the moment, you can simply bring the fairytale forest home with the app.
“Mein Märchenwald” offers digital sustainability and participation: Prove your green thumb by planting and caring for a virtual tree. For the first 50-100 successfully grown trees, the Swabian district will plant a real tree.
Fox, rabbit, deer or raccoon: the app also allows you to use your mobile phone camera to make a virtual three-dimensional forest animal jump on your smartphone - either as a companion through the exhibition rooms or in your own living room.
In the exhibition itself, you can use the app to bring the "Frog King", "Hansel and Gretel" and "Little Red Riding Hood" to talk and simulate the infestation of a forest by the bark beetle.
