Advice: Use either the new function 'commercial-suppression' or 1-2 minutes of 'increasing volume' for your alarms. You won't hear the first commercial then.

Radio Alarm Clock +

This is an online clock radio / radio alarm app.
It evolved from the 'Radio Alarm Clock (100% free of charge & ad-free!)'.
It is a heavily refurbished version with a more modern design, many improvements and new functions. It contains no ads!

This app is still being developed and improved.
There may be bugs and errors which may prevent the clock radio from waking you up as intended!
Please consider using a 'normal' alarm clock in addition to this app.


The advantages and new functions of the Radio Alarm Clock + include, among others:

This is an online radio alarm clock app.
An internet connection is needed in order to play online streams.
In case no internet connection is available an internal audio file will be played as backup, in order to wake you up anyway.

Complicated and weird but that's whatever, until it did the worst possible thing... the alarm didn't go off. The screen was on as if the alarm was active, but no sound. been working fine for the last week but just decided not to work. Fortunately, I was still able to wake up at a reasonable time thanks to my backup alarm, but that's unacceptable. One time and we're done, uninstalled.

I'm generally a cheap person, but this app is worth the purchase, it has everything that I wanted from an alarm app and so much more. Pros: alarm appears in the drop down menu, you can set radio stations from around the world as your music sources, you can set a back up music incase some kind of problem occurs with streaming, can customize so much about all the alarm setting. Cons: the interface can be a little confusing at times.

So far, so good. I did a test alarm, and my chosen radio station started playing, right on time. My only reservation is that I don't see an auto shut-off feature, one that would turn the radio off after an hour. I realize that Snooze or Off could be pressed, to shut the radio off, but I'd love for it to be an actual setting. And, speaking of Snooze, I'd like to be able to manually shut off the alarm, but just for today. I want it to activate the next day, so turning it off is too much!
