About this app

This app turns your device into a digital bedside clock / night clock with a dim display for comfortable use at night. It also includes a flashlight 🔦 for convenience when leaving your bed.

A daylight ☀️ mode allows you to reuse an old / unused device as a beautiful digital clock – both day ☀️ and night 🌑.

This is the supporter version of the Night Clock FREE.
It offers all settings and features without any limitations.

Ratings and reviews

Works ok, but I set it up so it won't run without external power. My intent was that the clock would close when I removed the charger. Instead, it pops up a persistent message "warning" me that it's not allowed without power. That defeats the purpose of that setting. I just want the clock to close. Also, it's far too easy to accidentally change settings when touching the screen. I find myself constantly reactivating auto-brightness and resizing text. If those were fixed, I would give 5 stars.

Great app, but one little bug prevents me from giving it 5 stars. When I set an alarm it always displays the alarm time one minute before the actual alarm sounds. I set an alarm for 7:00am, but the app displays 6:59am. No matter what time I set my alarm it always displays alarm time one minute before. Can this be fixed? EDIT: Updated to 5 stars. A misbehaving alarm app was the culprit. Changed to a different app and Night Clock works smoothly.

Best replacement I've found for my previous "clock dock" style app that had not kept up compatibility with new Android versions. I miss the old app's ability to share alarms with other devices on the same Google Account, though. I would love to find another clock app that could do that alarm-sharing, especially with other family members' devices running the app. Still, despite not having multiple device features, this one is the "best of the rest".
