Dear user,
this app is 100% ad-free! Sometimes I receive negative ratings due to radio stations playing advertisements. There is nothing I could do against that. The app itself is ad-free.

Advice: Use 1-2 minutes of increasing volume for your alarms. You won't hear the first commercial then.

*Currently ~3600 radio stations from all over the world!*
*More than 70 local BBC Radio stations*

Each station is individually added by hand upon user-request to ensure YOU get the stations YOU like!

You will be prompted to accept the TERMS OF USE before you can use the app:

This is an online clock radio / radio alarm app.
An internet connection is required in order to play an online stream.
In case there is no internet connection available, an integrated audio file will be played instead to make sure the user will get woken up anyway.

You can set multiple repeating (weekly) or one time alarms per day.
On the main page you can find a power napping timer for short naps (1-120 min).

You can add stations to your favourites and play them in the radio player.

A notification in the notification bar indicates the next alarm time; tapping the notification will open the app.

Settings:
ā€¢alarm volume
ā€¢snooze duration: 1-30 min
ā€¢alarm auto off: 0, 30, 60, 90, 120 min
ā€¢safety dialog when disabling an alarm: on/off
ā€¢increasing volume (standard alarm): 0-60 min
ā€¢increasing volume (power nap): 0-5 min
ā€¢vibration (standard alarm): on/off
ā€¢vibration (power nap): on/off
ā€¢notification type for next alarm: fixed / deletable / off
ā€¢different color schemes
ā€¢add a custom stream to favourites

When the alarm time is reached, you may:
ā€¢stop the alarm (X)
ā€¢snooze the alarm for the set snooze duration (Z)
ā€¢control the volume (if you want to continue listening), this switches off the vibration and the increase in volume stops, if switched on
-a notification in the notification bar indicates that the radio is on and a tap leads back to the "wake-up" screen

The alarm will mute on any call and stop the vibration.
After a call, the wake-up volume will be restored.

If you like the app, I would be truly grateful if you gave it a positive rating :-)

There may be bugs and errors which may prevent the clock radio from waking you up as intended!
Please consider using a 'normal' alarm clock in addition to this app.

Works as advertise, and easy to set up. However, when testing the alarm out, I encountered one issue that had no obvious solution when I browsed through the settings: The alarm was routing through my Bluetooth headphones I had on when testing, rather than routing to the phone speakers themselves the way the standard android base clock app does for its alarm. I typically go to sleep with earbuds in, but don't necessarily want the alarm to go off in those. Is there a fix? Love the app otherwise!

Hello, the app used to utilize alarm stream volume at the beginning but many people complained it was too loud already on volume level 1. So I changed it to media, it was much better for those people. Then other people complained. Long story short: selecting the output stream is a feature of the "+ version" now. Free app can only use media stream.

Yes, the user interface is kind of funky, old school, and out-of-date but think if it as minimalist, no frills, and clean. This app simply gets down to business and gets the job done. I've yet to find a more efficient way to wake up or a less distracting way to listen to the radio. Thanks, guy! I appreciate your direct approach. 惄 **** PS: Just got the paid version (my first Play Store purchase) and its interface is much slicker with many bonus features, too! Love it!

Works fine for what it is, except for one very annoying thing: when I set a one-time alarm, it defaults to the same day. Which means more often than not, it's in the past. This seems like an easy fix - don't allow the user to even try to set an alarm in the past. Just move it forward 24 hours and provide a little text warning, or make the default be the next day. Plus, having a home/landing screen seems redundant. When the app opens, it should open on the alarms screen. Some basic ux stuff

Hello, I might reconsider the 'one time alarm at next day default' setting. A main page of the app is needed, since the app also provides a complete radio player. There are a radio, alarms and settings (as well as a help dialog and an info page) which are in my opinion more intuitive to be reached from a starting page. All in one place. Ben
