An app that allows grouping of lights, can be very useful. I tested it and it does work. I grouped my living room and dining room together. One command wakes up/shuts down both groups. Nice. Now as for the app itself, does it have the ability to control lights based on sunset/sunrise? I just did the All Feature update. It has been sitting at "Please wait. Google Play is being contacted". I have the confirmation email. Is it now activated? All is good. Package is activated. Let the sunset turn on the outside and sunrise turn off the outside - works as desired.
Works way better than the stock Hue app. Something tells me Philips has intentionally hamstringed their own app, in order to encourage people to buy this one. Seems wrong on a lot of levels considering the price of the system in the first place. Either way, 5 stars as it does what I need it to.
The only app that lets you actually configure HUE the way you want. Its probably hard to get into for people with little to no IT experience but it seems to be targeted at an advanced audience anyway, and its doing a good job at that. There are plenty of plug and pray apps on the market that are trying to hide every technical aspect from their users this app doesn't.
Totally worth every penny, it allows you to create rules that the official app doesn't. I hope that they add rule exceptions in the future.
App crashes A LOT. Effects often start by blasting full white light. Effects need app to open and focused the whole time. Light grouping is extremely cumbersome. Desperately needs a UX/UI designer review.
Not really customizable for what I needed, there are other programs that will do this for free. I haven't noticed anything at all after paying for it. Nothing changed!
