Awesome! This app deserves not five, but six stars! That's near to Startrek Tricorder, a future vision of universal detector. And the possibility of creating own experiments is just something unique.
About year ago, I told to teachers in school and university that "you can build lab for kids and even 1st-2nd year students arround smartphones, even with simple raw data reading". You did it!
Hi Aachen University! I love your app. However can you help me? I think i can snap 8 different notes altogether on both my hands, I would like to know the note each finger produces. But the frequency displayed disappears very fast and is not very consistent, can you make a delay to to frequency displayed, much like a guitar tuner where it dusplays the last significant note played for a few seconds? This is so i wont have to continuously snap to see the note lol, it gets tiring.
Works brilliantly and outperforms our dataloggers for acceleration experiments. This allows us to get excellent collision data in crash test experiments.

Minor update with bugfixes:
- Fix wrong time axis of audio scope
- Allow unusual frequencies in tone generator but add a warning
- Rename centrifugal acceleration to centripetal
- Fix OK-button not accessible on startup (small screens with enlarged fonts)
- Fix rare crash in GPS module
- Combine wrong GPS status to "deactivated/active"
