The #1 online eye test* is finally available as an app! Test your eyes for nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), red-green color blindness (anomalous trichromasia), age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and much more. m.
Let the companions guide you through the Vision Checks and receive coins with which you can unlock more Vision Checks or companions. After each vision check, you can look for a local optician who can advise you individually on which vision correction is best for you.
The following vision checks are included in the app:
- TV check (myopia)
- Landolt vision check (myopia)
- Near vision check (farsightedness)
- Color vision check (red-green poor vision)
- Sharpness check (astigmatism)
- Macula vision check (age-related macular degeneration – AMD)
- Children's vision check (myopia, color vision and contrast vision)
- Vehicle vision check (myopia and color vision)
Note: These vision checks do not replace a visit to the optician or ophthalmologist.
Eye training: With eye training - no matter how sophisticated - defective vision such as nearsightedness or presbyopia can neither be stopped nor reversed. However, a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet, plenty of exercise and sufficient sleep can slow down the aging processes in the body – including those in the eye.
