Be nice is a modern Android launcher built with Jetpack Compose.

It started as a tool to launch apps in split-screen mode to avoid forced rotation on tablets and foldables, and has evolved into a full-featured home screen replacement.

Ratings and reviews

I like the simplicity, but it's just not opening the apps split screen on my Motorola Android 12 phone from the shortcuts in the app or the shortcuts in the launcher. It just opens the first apps and then opens the second app. I've even tried using the maximum delay.

Big must have! I've been looking for a split screen app forever that is simple and smooth to navigate. I use this all the time. It's super easy to access and there's barely any lag I've noticed when working between apps

used to work well. now it freeze my phone when I click on a saved sloit

- Folder and app-pair icons now match the vendor-provided icon shape
- You can turn off the alphabet and 'Favorites' section titles on the apps list (favorites stay grouped clearly)
- Bugfix: safeguard adaptive icons on Huawei devices
