Be nice is a modern Android launcher built with Jetpack Compose.

It started as a tool to launch apps in split-screen mode to avoid forced rotation on tablets and foldables, and has evolved into a full-featured home screen replacement.

I like the simplicity, but it's just not opening the apps split screen on my Motorola Android 12 phone from the shortcuts in the app or the shortcuts in the launcher. It just opens the first apps and then opens the second app. I've even tried using the maximum delay.

Big must have! I've been looking for a split screen app forever that is simple and smooth to navigate. I use this all the time. It's super easy to access and there's barely any lag I've noticed when working between apps

Well done for a great app. Sadly, most of the combinations I would like to use aren't supported because one of the apps cannot function in split-screen mode. A typical example is trying to pair PayPal with Google Authenticator, which doesn't work because PayPal doesn't support split screen. That's a shame because Be Nice would Be Amazing if it could handle that. Great job, though!
