About this app

As a patient, you will be invited by health professionals or health insurers to use the Velaria app.



The aim is to significantly improve the process and quality of the collection of medical information as part of a medical treatment. In addition, the Velaria app promotes self-management of patients with respiratory diseases by providing relevant content, personalized weather and pollen warnings, and tracking of physical activity. The app is prescribed for clearly defined respiratory diagnoses and is used both to prepare for consultations and to accompany patients.



You will be accompanied by the app before and in-between appointments with your doctor and asked about your medical history and current symptoms via an intelligent chatbot. In addition, it supports the patient in self-management, as Velaria guides you through therapeutic activities such as disease-specific scores, information on activities (step counting) and tips.



With the app, you receive appointment confirmations and reminders from your doctor as well as questions about your state of health, quality of life, or disease-specific symptoms. Velaria automatically generates a summary report from this and sends it directly to your doctor, who is then optimally prepared for your next consultation and can respond to your concerns more quickly and more specifically.
