About this app

The Transplant Alert App (TAA) was created by Manchester Foundation Trust NHS and developed by Desap Enterprises Ltd. TAA is aimed at patients or their nominated representatives on the organ transplant waiting list under the hospitals care to notify them when an organ becomes available.

Due to the need for the rapid response the app is uniquely designed and enabled with Critical Alert permissions, TAAs major elements include;

• Bypass silent and Do Not Disturb modes on users’ phone to ensure critical alerts are never missed
• Standard messaging feature for ensuring your details are up to date and you have notified your Transplant Coordinator of any upcoming holidays etc
• Confirm your availability to attend and log your estimated time of arrival (ETA) so your clinical team knows when to expect you
• Invitation only system
• Sleek in design and easy to use
