About this app

MedBuk+ is a private health passport and step tracker for Malaysia. Record your steps, meals, blood pressure, glucose, weight and mood in one place, join walking challenges, and collect welcome gifts from local partners.

RECORD WHAT MATTERS TO YOU
• Steps: connect Health Connect to see your daily step count. MedBuk+ reads steps only and never writes to Health Connect.
• Blood pressure, pulse, glucose and weight: type a reading, or photograph your meter and check the values before saving.
• Meals: log a meal by searching Malaysian dishes or by taking a photo. Photo results are estimates you can edit.
• Mood: private check-ins with optional tags and a short note. Only you can see them.

YOU REVIEW BEFORE ANYTHING IS SAVED
Photo analysis is optional and asks for your consent first. The photo is sent through OpenRouter to Microsoft Azure servers in the United States, and comes back as a draft. Nothing is saved until you review and confirm every value. Food photos are not kept after analysis. You can always type entries yourself instead.

YOUR HEALTH PASSPORT
See your steps, readings and meals together in one timeline. Correct or delete entries, and export a copy of your data from Privacy settings.

COMMUNITY
• Join curated clubs and walking challenges.
• Share a preset activity card, such as a day's step total or a meal summary, with a club you belong to. You choose and confirm every card. Each card is reviewed before club members see it, and you can withdraw it at any time. There are no free-text posts.
• Report or block members and content whenever you need to.

REWARDS
Collect a one-time welcome grant of points when you finish setup, then use them for vouchers from participating partners. Some partner welcome gifts need no points at all. Steps, meals, readings and mood do not earn points. Vouchers are redeemed in person with a QR code or a short code. Partners never receive your health information.

FOR TEAMS
If your employer invites you, you can join its workspace. Employers see collective figures only, never an individual's records, and figures for groups smaller than five people are not shown. Joining a workspace does not share your Health Passport.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
• No ads and no in-app purchases.
• Your health information is never sold or used for advertising.
• Sharing with other members is off until you choose it.
• Notifications are optional and never contain health readings or mood.
• Delete your account in the app at Settings > Delete account, or on the web.

WHO IT IS FOR
MedBuk+ is available in Malaysia for adults aged 18 and over, in English, Bahasa Melayu and Simplified Chinese. Sign in with Google, or with your email using a one-time code or a password.

MedBuk+ records and organises information. It is not a medical device. It does not interpret readings, diagnose, or recommend treatment. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional about your health, and do not use MedBuk+ in an emergency.
