About this app

Take a photo of a receipt and Traty reads every line: the store, the date, and each item with its quantity and price. Every item goes into one of thirty categories, so the month shows what the money went on, item by item.

WHAT THE PHOTO BECOMES
Bread goes to bakery, a bus ticket to fares, painkillers to pharmacy. Even a long receipt takes one photo. You glance over the result and press Save. If a line was misread, fixing it takes a tap.
You can also import a PDF receipt, or share an e-receipt into Traty from another app.

WHERE THE MONTH WENT
The home screen shows the month's total, how it grew since the first day, and how it compares with the same day last month. Spending is split into five groups: food, housing, transport, health and care, and life. Open a group to see its categories, and a category to see the purchases behind it. Discounts you received are counted separately.

PRICE HISTORY
Traty remembers the prices of things you buy often. Open a product and you see every purchase, which one was cheapest and which was dearest, and how much the price changed since last time.

SEARCH, WIDGET, CURRENCIES
Find any receipt by store name or amount. A home-screen widget shows the month's spending, spending per day, and one more figure of your choice. Receipts in another currency are converted at the exchange rate for the receipt's date.

HOUSEHOLD
Up to five people can share one receipt history. Everyone adds receipts from their own phone and sees the same month, and each receipt shows who added it. Joining is voluntary, and if you leave, you take a copy of your receipts with you.

FREE AND PAID
The first five receipt scans are free. That is five in total, not five a month. Entering receipts by hand is free and unlimited, and so is everything else: history, categories, price history, search, the widget. The subscription gives you up to 100 scans a month and lets you create a household.

PRIVACY
The photo is processed on our server and deleted right away, whether reading it succeeds or not. What stays is the receipt data, visible only to you and your household. No ads, no analytics.

What’s new

• Receipt editing: a new ± key on the keypad lets you enter a discount by hand. Digits typed over a negative amount keep the minus, and the Discount category makes the amount negative on its own.
• Price history: once you stop treating purchases as one product, the button no longer comes back and unrelated neighbours are not shown.
• No more crash when a file is shared into the app while it is open.
