BamMate

BamMate is a native Android client for Bambu Lab 3D printers, designed to work with a self-hosted BamBuddy backend server. Connect to your printers over your own network with no cloud lock-in, no third-party data sharing, and get a clean, modern dashboard for everything that matters during a print.

See every printer connected to your BamBuddy server in one place, featuring model artwork including P1S, P1P, X1, A1, A1 mini, H2D and more, alongside live status and quick actions.

* Live camera stream
Watch your print in real time, including a fullscreen landscape view for tablets and large screens.

* Print control
Pause, resume, and stop active prints directly from your phone.

* AMS overview
Inspect AMS units and slot colors per printer, start filament drying, and review temperature and humidity history.

* Filament inventory
Browse spools stored on the server, search and filter by material or color, and edit details directly from the app.

* Print queue
Review the queue, remove jobs, filter, and pull to refresh.

* Archive of completed prints
Full screen detail view with a cover image and timelapse video playback via ExoPlayer, plus reprint and reschedule actions. Export the archive to CSV or XLSX via Android's DownloadManager.

* Statistics
Aggregate totals and per printer breakdowns of completed jobs, runtime, and material usage.

* Maintenance tracker
Service items per printer with status, working hours, interval, and last maintenance timestamps.

* Manual reference
Quick access to common operating instructions.

DESIGN AND COMFORT

* Built with Jetpack Compose and Material 3, with proper support for dynamic type, RTL layouts, and TalkBack.
* Three themes are available, featuring dark as default, AMOLED true black, and light, plus a configurable accent color.
* Configurable polling interval with options for off, 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 seconds so you can balance freshness against battery and network use.
* Localized into English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Serbian.

CONNECTIVITY

* Login with an API key or username and password.
* Works over HTTP or HTTPS, with custom server URLs and ports. Connect to your home LAN, VPN, or a self-hosted reverse proxy.
* No account required from us. Your data stays between your phone, your BamBuddy server, and your printers.

REQUIREMENTS

* A reachable BamBuddy or compatible server connected to your Bambu Lab printers via MQTT.
* Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer.
