About this app

SquawkIt is one maintenance log for everything you own: an aircraft logbook with squawks and inspections, a car and motorcycle maintenance tracker, a boat and bike maintenance log, and a home maintenance schedule. Records live on your device first, so it works fully offline and syncs across phone, tablet and the web when you're back online.

Pick what you maintain and the whole app speaks its language: fields, meters, the words on every screen and a recommended starter schedule come with the type.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE LOG
Squawks from Low through AOG, tagged to the engine, propeller or blade that has the problem. Airframe, engine and prop time as three separate meters, logged as you go. A starter schedule of the universal items: the 12-month annual or condition inspection, ELT, transponder and pitot-static checks, oil and filter every 50 engine hours, and the 100-hour if you fly for hire. ADs and service bulletins are tasks you add, with the intervals you choose. Invite your A&P or IA to the aircraft and they log against the same record.

CAR AND MOTORCYCLE MAINTENANCE TRACKER
Oil and filter, tire rotation, air filters, brake fluid, coolant and registration, each due by odometer or by date, whichever comes first. Every record carries the mileage and the receipt, so years of care become a service history you can hand to a buyer.

BOAT MAINTENANCE LOG
Engine hours that belong to the engine, not the hull. Impeller, lower-unit oil, anodes, bottom paint, safety gear and winterizing on a schedule that comes round every season. Share the record with your yard.

BIKE MAINTENANCE LOG
Chain lube by distance, chain wear, brake and cable checks, sealant and the annual tune-up, with suspension service due on ride hours rather than the calendar. One record per bike, for the whole stable.

HOME MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
HVAC filters, spring and fall service, gutters, the water-heater flush, the dryer vent and detector batteries, anchored to the months they belong in. No meters, no jargon, and a schedule written for you the day you add the house.

NEVER MISS A DUE DATE
Recurring tasks come due by calendar, by meter (engine hours, odometer, ride distance) or on condition. Overdue and due-soon work rises to the top of every list, and anything that grounds the airplane sits above it.

LOG ISSUES THE MOMENT YOU SPOT THEM
A squawk on the airplane, an issue on the car, an attention item at home. Record what's wrong with a photo, track it to resolution, and close it from the work log that fixed it.

SHARE WITH THE PEOPLE WHO HELP
Invite a mechanic, co-owner or family member to one thing, not your whole account. They see its schedule and history and log work against it; you stay the owner. Technicians keep their certifications on file, and their sign-offs stay attached to the work they did.

ATTACH THE PAPERWORK
Photos and documents (logbook pages, invoices, inspection reports, receipts) attach to the entry they belong to.

EXPORT ANYTIME
Download a thing's full history as a ZIP holding a PDF, a CSV and a spreadsheet, with every attachment. Email it to yourself, your mechanic or a buyer.

Sign in with Google or Apple and your records are backed up and kept in sync across phone, tablet and the web. Your records are yours: we don't sell your data, and you can export a complete copy at any time.

A NOTE ON CERTIFIED RECORDS
SquawkIt is a personal convenience tool. It doesn't replace the official aircraft logbooks required by your aviation authority, or any other record you're required to keep. Treat exports as backups and snapshots, not the legal source of truth.
