Use the white mode to light up more, use the red mode to not lose your night vision. Drag your fingers up/down or left/right to control brightness. Unlike other flashlight apps, the brightness is done by actually controlling the brightness output of your phone, not by changing the white color to a shade of grey. You save battery life with this efficient method.
