About this app

Tunewell is a clean, accurate tuner and metronome that works fully offline.

Tuner
- Guitar, bass, ukulele and violin, with alternate tunings: Drop D, half step down, DADGAD, Open G, Open D, Open E, Drop C
- Detects which string you're playing, or lock one string
- Clear needle and big note name, colored green when you're in tune
- Shows cents flat or sharp and which way to turn
- Adjustable reference pitch (A4 from 415 to 466 Hz)
- Gentle vibration when a string lands in tune

Metronome
- 30 to 250 BPM, accented first beat, 2, 3, 4 or 6 beats per bar
- Tap tempo
- Steady, sample-accurate timing

Built for everyone
Tunewell works with TalkBack: the note, how many cents off, and whether to tune up or down are read out as you play.

Private by design
The microphone is only used while the tuner is open. Sound is analysed on your phone and never recorded or sent anywhere. No account, no ads, no internet access.
