Lonely Explorer turns every walk into a game. Your steps clear the fog of war on a real map — streets you have never taken stay dark until you take them, and everything you reveal stays revealed forever.

• Fog of war — a live GPS track opens the map around you as you walk.
• Honest tracking — auto-pause at coffee stops and red lights, and a bus ride is never counted as a walk; your pace stays yours.
• Creatures — pixel-art creatures live by lakes, rivers, the sea and old buildings. Walk past one and it is yours, phone in your pocket or not. Collect them all in your bestiary.
• Your places — pin favourite spots with a photo and any emoji marker.
• Medals & challenges — hand-drawn medals, monthly challenges, day streaks.
• Territories & discoveries — see which districts you have covered and which parks, waters and bridges your fog uncovered.
• Friends — swap codes, peek at each other's fog, race the week.
• Leaderboard — ranked by ground revealed, fair at any latitude.
• Journal & share cards — a picture of every walk, month or year.
• Offline maps — download your area, explore first, find Wi-Fi later.

No account, no e-mail, no subscription, no ads. Your walks back up to our own server so a new phone can pick up where the old one left off, and you can delete everything from inside the app.
