Linden Row is a small merge puzzle with a gardener's pace. Pip, a frog in a straw hat, keeps a stone table in a quiet garden at dusk — and you help him grow it.
HOW IT PLAYS
Drag one piece onto another just like it and the two grow into the next one: a seed becomes a sprout, then a bud, a blossom branch, a bonsai, a stone lantern, a koi pond and, at the very end, a red torii gate. Every move brings a new seed to a free tile, and the garden also sprouts on its own every few seconds. Grow the goal piece shown in the moon above the table before there is no room left for the next seed.
ONE FINGER, ONE RULE
There is nothing to learn beyond dragging. Drop a piece on its match and they fuse. Drop it on a bare tile and it simply moves there. Drop it anywhere else and it hops back to where it was.
THE RAKE
Once per level you may drag any piece onto the bamboo rake beside the table. It clears that tile — handy when the table is nearly full and you need one more breath.
TWENTY LEVELS ON THE GARDEN PATH
The path winds through twenty levels. The first three are played on a 4×4 table, the rest on a 5×5 one. Early levels ask for a koi pond; later ones ask for the torii gate and sprout faster. A level takes about a minute or two. Finished levels stay open on the path, so you can walk back and replay any of them.
PETALS AND YOUR BEST
Every fusion earns petals — more for higher pieces — and a finished level adds extra for each tile you kept clear. The menu remembers your best round and your five most recent ones.
