It works, eye strain noticeably reduced, no ads, the only issue is full device access by which app has constant access to everything that is shown on the screen. Not really sure if it's possible to send that information to the remote server anyhow.. but yeah this is how it has to be to use this overlay, shame google does not provide such features as an integrated component of the Android system.

Hello, thank you for your review, please note that application doesn’t have internet permission and so can’t send anything to anywhere.

Using on Pixel 8 and it does truly eliminate PWM flicker. That said, it's a software solution to a hardware issue, so it's not perfect. These are the biggest problems for me: 1. Colors are extremely washed out in "Natural" color mode, so you have to switch to "Dynamic". Probably a system limitation. 2. Quick Setting tile doesn't accurately change status to reflect current state. 3. Uses unnecessary "INTERNET" permission which is concerning for a simple offline app with accessibility permission.

the app is great, i just wish that instead of putting my phone at max brightness with no way to change that apart from the in-app darkening filter which destroys the colors without reducing the flickering, it would just let me apply the pixel filter.
Hello, thank you for feedback, the pixel filter works the same way as darkening, it can’t do anything without maxing out brightness unfortunately. Because without brightness change, applied pixel filter overlay won’t show any difference between disabled and normal pixels
