WHERE ARE THEY is a pixel-art sci-fi roguelike about space exploration and the Fermi paradox.
Your homeworld is gone. One seed ship escapes into deep space carrying the last survivors of your species. Your mission is simple: find a new home before extinction catches up with you.
Explore a massive galaxy containing tens of millions of stars and hundreds of millions of planets, all on the same map. Travel through unknown systems, manage scarce resources, and make impossible decisions while crossing the darkness between stars.
Choose from six species with different biological traits, adapt to hostile environments through gene editing and terraforming. Build colonies on distant planets, keep your population alive, and decide whether to settle down… or abandon everything and continue into the unknown.
