Ratings and reviews

It's ok for some things but what annoys me is when I try to open a round to look at my stats the app crashes. Follow-up: after speaking with Trackman I would say my rating is a solid 2 stars now. I was told the app doesn't work well with Samsung devices and advised to go with an IOS device. Working in IT project management- if the functionality of the application is buggy and doesn't work- don't deploy it or realize you will get poor ratings.

I'm knocking this review down a notch for a few reasons. First of all, it seems to be a bit flaky with tracking each ball. I hit 102 balls yesterday and it recorded only 62 of those shots. There were periods where it wouldn't track 4 -6 balls in a row. The trackman reporting is disappointing as well. When you're on the range it will visually display your ball's flight path on the map and give you a near instant reading of where it landed. Afterwards though, when you look at the report, there's no map, nothing visual to look at, nothing. It's just a graph of the numbers of each shot. That's pretty lame. It's difficult to glean useful information easily. Even past that though, there's basically no options with the data. You can share it, but you can't easily export it to put it in excel and look at it. Their dynamic report thing doesn't allow you to sort by column. For example, I'd like to see shots in order from longest to shortest. There's no way to do this in the app or on their web portal. If you want to do anything other than look at the data your best bet is to copy and paste into excel or something. Disappointing. Exportable data to CSV or excel would be great.

The experience is much better than it was at launch. It seems like a mostly effective tool for judging distance at ranges that have this enabled. It is easy to set up, as long as you choose the correct bay, and it doesn't require any other user input. I brought an iPhone 11 Pro with me because the reviews did not seem convincing, but my Pixel 3 worked very well. The numbers seemed a bit off but it was also 45° and windy. I'm not sure what is taken into account to calculate distance.
