About this app

Byens Luft is developed for citizens who are particularly vulnerable to air pollution – for example, children with certain chronic diseases, pregnant women, people with asthma, COPD and heart disease and their relatives.

Byens Luft shows forecasts for air quality in several municipalities, four days ahead. You can sign up for alerts so that you are notified when the level of air pollution is expected to be very high in different places in the city. The forecasts are based on an air quality index developed by DCE – National Center for Environment and Energy at Aarhus University.

On Byens Luft you can also see the expected level of fine particles (PM2.5), coarse particles (PM10), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and ozone (O3). And you can see measurement data one day ago from the physical measurement stations.

Byens Luft viser det forventede luftforureningsniveau i flere kommuner. I version 1.4 er Tårnby Kommune blevet tilføjet i appen og zoom-funktionen er justeret, så du får et bedre overblik over den relevante kommune.
