Yoga can provide calmness and energy as well as strength and flexibility throughout the body. It is this combination of mental and physical effect that has excited me about practicing yoga and which I would like to try to share in my yoga classes.
My teaching is primarily based on the principles of Hatha yoga.
We always start a yoga class by landing on the yoga mat and getting some rest on our breathing and a calm warm-up.
In addition, my yoga classes always consist of standing, sitting and lying positions as well as usually 1-2 balance exercises, where we get through the whole body. Occasionally there will be a specific focus area for the lesson, e.g. back
or buttocks and thighs. Each hour is rounded off with relaxation.
Beginners and advanced students will be taken into account in the teaching.
Teaching takes place in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Yoga mats as well as straps and blocks are available.
