About this app

eTuning is an app for Shimano Steps motors that allows you to configure from your mobile device via bluetoth the ebikes with this system. This is not official Shimano app, It is an app developed by third parties.

It worked to update my motor tork settings the 1st time. The eco setting for the Shimano steps motor seem to be low or off completely. I was able to use the software to update the low to plus 10% which totally made my day. The YouTube app only gives you high medium and low which is what I was stuck with. This app made a difference. Amazing.

I find this a great app. I tried a few different ones before I settled on this. I have e8000 and I had to downgrade the firmware in order to change the country to US but this is quite straightforward if you follow the instructions carefully. The app connects to the bike easily and reliably and is very intuitive to use with a nicely laid out and clear interface. Above all, it's a very cheap solution. Recommended.

Region change took me about 20 minutes, most of it spent waiting for the bike to update. Solid solution, especially when the total cost is about 10% of getting someone local to do it.
