I live in Omaha, and the River can be hard to get on some radios. I tried using the built in FM tuner in my phone, but the station was staticky, so I downloaded this app. The app streams the station better than most FM stations sound. The app crashes on occasion and android keeps wanting to turn it off due to battery usage, so hopefully someone addresses those issues. The app is simple and allows access to the River wherever you are which is nice since they have some unique shows.

Completely independent colledge radio station witb a huge playlist. You'll hear new and popular songs several times a day but at a good 4 hours before you'll ever hear a repeat. Allot of great symdicated shows on the weekends.Rock, Alternative Rock, Drum and Bass, Heavy Metal and more. My absolute favorite radio station. No playlists. You got Pandora amd others for that. What you will hear is music you've never heard before. My only negative is they cover the schools sports. Just music for me.

I recently moved to Texas, I haven't found any good rock stations that even come close to the River! I listen to it while driving and at work...its one of the few things I miss about Nebraska. Thanks for the awesome app!:);)
