Built for UPSA

This release has been configured specifically for the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). User roles, organisational structures, approval workflows, and governance processes are aligned with the University's internal academic and administrative arrangements.

Research Foundation

Academic Governance is based on the MSc Information Systems research project titled "Design and Stakeholder Evaluation of a Socio-Technical Digital Governance System for Academic Workload Verification — Evidence from the University of Professional Studies, Accra." The system was developed using stakeholder requirements gathered from academic and administrative staff and evaluated through structured surveys and prototype demonstrations to ensure alignment with institutional workflows.

This application is intended for authorised UPSA personnel, including academic staff, Heads of Department, Deans, the Human Resource Directorate, the Finance Directorate, ICTMIS, and designated university management users.

Privacy & Data Governance

The platform supports institutional data governance through role-based access control, comprehensive audit trails, and data minimisation. Users can only access information relevant to their authorised responsibilities, and workload records are managed in accordance with applicable UPSA policies.
