WGU Mobile is the official Western Governors University mobile application for active students. You can study on-the-go by accessing your courses, receive push notifications for assessments, easily contact faculty, and more.

The new WGU Mobile has been completely redesigned! With the new app, you can:
• Use the app on your phone or tablet in portrait or landscape orientation
• Receive push notifications for updates on your assessments
• View your entire degree plan, including the courses you are enrolled in, those you have completed, and those remaining to complete your degree
• Access all your courses, including being able to view Course Announcements, Tips, and Assessments
• Pick up your course right where you left off in the Student Portal—your course progress is automatically synchronized between the two
• Easily locate contact information for your program mentor, course instructors, and WGU support departments
• Access helpful links to resources like the WGU Library, Student Handbook, and more
• See which mobile apps other students find useful in the App Center

Ratings and reviews

Absolute trash! You can hardly accomplish anything on this app. The interface is confusing and ugly. When you find something the app can do for you, there's still a high likelihood that the app will find a way to make it a frustrating experience. Update: now it doesn't even open! When I attempt to launch the app it just randomly reloads the page over and over, preventing me from using it entirely! This is right on par with every other resource that WGU offers.

Update: Still bad It's pretty awful at the moment. The zoom in and zoom out buttons sometimes obscure other buttons I may need to press to advance to the next page. I have yet to watch a video through the app due to odd technical issues despite working just fine when viewing it through a traditional browser. The app sometimes points me to a download for the panopto app (a poorly reviewed app) for extended video support, but that seems far less convenient than just using a typical browser.

App completely broken, it let me log in then it just flashes between a white screen and the dark blue logo screen repeatedly, 2-3 times a second, indefinitely. It doesn't even let me go to the apps window to close it directly from the app, I have to leave it before I can access that menu.
