LightningMinder helps you stay aware of reported lightning activity near one saved location.

Choose an Alert Zone and a Critical Zone in miles. Set independent clearing times for each. LightningMinder shows whether recently reported lightning activity has entered either zone, the latest qualifying report distance, current data freshness, and time remaining before the zone clears.

Use the home-screen widget to check status at a glance. Optional notifications can tell you when a zone becomes active or clears, or when data becomes stale or available again.
