A rain alert app that only goes off when the rain is actually your problem.
RainCue watches the sky over your area and warns you before it starts raining. It isn't another weather app with a seven-day forecast and a cloud icon: it's an alarm for the exact moment you were about to walk out the door.
YOUR ROUTINES ARE THE DIFFERENCE
Tell it when you leave for work, when the laundry is out, when you walk the dog. RainCue only looks at those windows.
• If rain is coming during your window, you get a warning with time to spare and the minute it starts.
• If there's a dry gap before it, it says so: sometimes leaving ten minutes early is all it takes.
• If it isn't going to rain, it says nothing at all.
That silence is the feature, not the lack of one. Most days RainCue is right by staying quiet, which is why you can leave it installed without it turning into one more app that nags.

WE'RE HONEST ABOUT THE DATA
Forecast precision is not the same everywhere, and the app says so on screen instead of pretending. Where there's fine weather radar you'll see exact minutes; where there isn't, the app talks in hours and says "may rain" instead of promising. We'd rather tell you we don't know than invent a time.

NO ACCOUNTS, NO SIGN-UP
There's no account to create and no email to hand over. We don't know who you are. We store the coordinates of the areas you pick so we can watch them, and you can delete everything from settings with one button.
Your location is only read if you tap "use my location", and only that once: the app doesn't follow you around or check where you are in the background.
PREMIUM: ONE PAYMENT
The free version keeps one routine active, which is plenty to find out whether this is for you. Premium lets you keep as many routines as you want at once. One payment, not a subscription.
