About this app

Its objective is to connect people over 65 years old registered in Madrid with people from Voluntari @ s por Madrid, to request certain (accompaniments that promote relationship and friendship, to procedures, walks, visits to the doctor, etc.) that must be provided and be attended to as soon as possible.
The application shows its users, first of all, what type of accompaniment they want to request by means of icons. The types of accompaniment are:
• Medical appointments
• Walk
• Shopping
• Administrative procedures
• Pets (walk or accompaniment to the vet)
• Leisure activities and free time
• Accompaniment in hospital
• Others
Once the icon of the desired accompaniment is marked in the window, the application refers the user to a form that collects a series of data that will be used to publish their request:
• Day (calendar display),
• Time (drop-down with hours),
• Accompaniment direction (free text)
• Complementary indications (free text)
When a volunteer agrees to carry out the requested accompaniment, a chat will appear for the user (older) to specify details.
Users will have a button to CANCEL the request for accompaniment if necessary.
