About this app

Karada (体, "body") is the sister of Kokoro (心, "heart"): together they are kokoro to karada. It's a place to reconnect with your body through gentle movement. It's not a fitness app: it's a garden where a bonsai grows, and you are the bonsai.

There are no streaks, rankings, or numbers to monitor here. No weight, calories, or "before and after." Just your body, a moment of unhurried movement, and a bonsai that blossoms when you give yourself the gift of presence.

🌅 Rajio taisō
Japanese radio exercise from 1928, as a gentle morning ritual: three minutes to awaken the body, with serene piano music or in silence.

🤸 Movement tailored to you
Movement sessions using your own body and what you already have at home, adjusted to today's actual time. Repetitions are a guide ("as many as your body needs today"), never a record to beat. Listen to your body: if something hurts, stop.

🍃 The afternoon stretch
A gentle way to end the day: stretching and breathing, without pushing yourself.

🌱 A bonsai that grows through presence
Every time you move, you gain a drop of dew and care for your bonsai: its pot, its soil, small details of the garden. The drops are never lost by being absent, and if you're gone for a few days, the bonsai awaits you untouched. The bonsai never withers. The reward is its beauty, not the points.

🏮 Moments
From time to time, a moment blossoms on a serene card that breathes and fades away on its own: the first time, the return after a few days. Celebrations, never streaks.

🔔 Invitations (optional)
If you'd like, a daily invitation with a proverb or haiku. Never "You haven't trained in X days": just an open door, which you can close whenever you want.

🔒 Yours and no one else's
Karada has no accounts or servers. It doesn't ask for your email, it doesn't ask you to register, and it doesn't even have permission to connect to the internet: what happens here can't leave your phone. And some data simply doesn't exist: no reps, times, weight, or measurements are recorded.

🎁 A gift, without ads
Karada is a non-profit family gift: no ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics or tracking. Just a body to return to, without rushing.
