Boletus predicts where and when mushrooms are likely to grow — before you drive out to find an empty forest.
Most foraging apps just show you where other people have already checked in. Boletus is different: it combines high-resolution satellite data (down to 30m), real-time weather, and soil science to score any spot on the map for the mushrooms you're after — refreshed every day, up to 5 days ahead.
WHY BOLETUS
The rain came ten days too early. The soil never warmed up in time. Other apps only show where mushrooms WERE found — nothing about today. Boletus fixes that by combining:
• Static layers — soil type, pH, tree species, canopy — that set whether a spot CAN support a species
• Dynamic layers — moisture, temperature trends, season timing — refreshed daily to show where it's happening RIGHT NOW
• Individual models per species, because porcini and chanterelles need different conditions to grow

Boletus is built on the same data science used by soil scientists and forestry agencies — Copernicus satellite data, the WRB soil classification standard, and the World Data Center for Soils. It's a probability score, like a weather forecast, not a guarantee.
