Senda is a new product focused on the care of the elderly. A geolocalizable device with SOS help button, with total autonomy and “hands-free” function. It allows mobility with safety for the elderly, to be able to press it in case of emergency, as well as tranquility for their relatives or caregivers since in a single glance the mobile can know where they are, schedule alerts, call them, and ultimately, be more connected to them.

Wherever the elderly are, family members can receive real-time information and act in an emergency. The system consists of two parts: the mobile device carried by the elderly and the mobile applications managed by their relatives or caregivers.
Device for the elderly
Thanks to the device, the elderly feel more confident to continue with their lifestyle, since they know that if something happens to them, at home or on the street, they can press the SOS button. The device automatically calls consecutively up to 3 registered numbers, passing from one to another until someone picks up the call. At that time, the elderly person, who is located by GPS, can speak from the hands-free commenting on what is happening or directly asking for help. You can also receive calls from your relatives on the device, they will be picked up automatically, without the need to press any button and speak comfortably without having to use your hands.
Applications for family members
The mobile application is for family members and it helps them to be informed of how and where their elders are. The type of information they can receive on the mobile phone is of various kinds from the current geographical location or route that the older person has been following to automatic alerts and programmable alerts.
Automatic alerts are 3 functions that come standard and once the device is started up they always work as follows:
-SOS call: notification and mobile call that is activated when the older person presses the SOS button on the device.
-Detection of fall: notification and call to the mobile that is activated (with 10 seconds of delay as a margin for a possible cancellation) when a fall is detected in the device.
-Battery status: notification that arrives when the device has less than 20% battery.
The programmable ones are a series of alerts that the same family member can program, as many times as he wants, from the mobile according to his preferences:
- Entry and exit to a geographical area: notification that arrives when the older person enters or leaves an area previously created by the family member from the mobile. You can create as many geographical areas as necessary.
- For time out of zone: notification that arrives when the older person has been out of one or more of the marked areas for more than a certain time. To the previously created areas, the family member can add that time variable.
-By device inactivity: notification that arrives when no movement has been detected within a certain time frame. Like the previous one, the temporary variable is configured by the family member from the mobile.
In addition, the family member can call the device with the automatic pick-up function. This means that the call picks up itself without the need for the elderly person to use their hands, being able to know how they are and listen to the environment where they are.
