About this app

The STAND UP App encompasses different possibilities that aim to create a light and fast tool to gain knowledge of cyberbullying, giving information to VET educators on how to tackle it. The app is developed in a multiplatform way, so that everyone can access it and it can be downloaded freely.
The app is constituted as a data repository as well as an interactive environment where to respond / reflect on specific situations that may constitute cyberbullying. In this way, the user will be able to access contact information for cases of cyberbullying at a local, national and European level, explore a repository of useful resources such as mobile apps, tools and access the Training Curriculum for VET trainers „Fight against a cyberbullying!”.
It is composed of five modules covering the following topics: 1. What is cyberbullying? 2. How to detect cyberbullying in the VET classroom. 3. How to behave in case of discovering a case of cyberbullying. 4. How to prevent cyberbullying in the VET classroom. 5. How to start a conversation in the classroom about cyberbullying. The information included in the modules is practical and includes examples of exercises and activities that can be carried out in the VET classroom.
A final evaluation test is included to check general knowledge about cyberbullying, giving specific guidance to VET educators.
The user will also be able to access Learning Tools for students: „Say No to Cyberbullying” - didactic and highly visual material that can be shared with VET students. It covers the following topics: „What is cyberbullying?”, „Does someone around you suffer cyberbullying? How to detect it”, „Are you a victim of cyberbullying? How to fight it.”, „Do you know a victim of cyberbullying? Tools to help you” and „What causes cyberbullying? Data and consequences”.
