Reads the original capture date from EXIF (photos) or QuickTime (videos) metadata and restores the file modification date.
The most reliable method — works for any file taken with a camera or smartphone.

Files without EXIF or Quicktime metadata but with a date in the filename (e.g. IMG_20240315_143022.jpg) can still be fixed.

I recently had to recover all my photos on my Samsung from the trash bin (my fault). When I restored them, the pics were not in the correct order. After trying several different things to resolve this, I downloaded this app and to make things way easier for me, I bought the premium lifetime package (incase I screw up again) and within 5 minutes everything was fixed! Highly recommended.

This app is amazing! I was so frustrated after transferring all of my files - including A LOT of pictures - from my S23 to my new S26, and they were all in a weird order. But this app fixed it! And it shows you the Before/After, which saved me several times. And it explains so well what it is doing. Definitely worth the money!

Words cannot express how much I love you for providing these apps. I have the premium versions but I'm leaving you in my will lol The automatic reorganization Android does to my photos every time I move a file or whatever has always been such a hassle. This app fixes that. It fixes everything. Now I'm kind of a boomer when it comes to things like EXIF and meta data and whatever all that stuff is but even *I* could figure this out. Plus they're there to help if you need it.
