About this app

FairEmail is easy to set up and works with virtually all email providers, including Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo!

FairEmail might be for you if you value your privacy.

FairEmail is simple to use, but if you are looking for a very simple email app, FairEmail might not be the right choice.

FairEmail is an email client only, so you need to bring your own email address. FairEmail is not a calendar/contact/task/note manager and cannot make you coffee.

FairEmail does not support non-standard protocols, like Microsoft Exchange Web Services and Microsoft ActiveSync.

Almost all features are free to use, but to maintain and support the app in the long term, not every feature can be for free. See below for a list of pro features.

A lot of effort has gone into this mail app, which was developed to help you protect your privacy. If you have a question or problem, there is always support at marcel@faircode.eu.

I can see where the people don't like it because of the other features & it does look confusing. Its the other menus but you need to take into consideration, that this is a fully functional system. The pro version will allow you to filter & sort emails into their own folders just like your regular mail system does & the ability to see the logs, awesome. It is a techie thing to see the operations & the logs. Hoping that I will upgrade, you cannot seperate into folders unless its high $.

I waited several years to review this app, never understood the logic in reviewing right after receiving a product. I initially downloaded the free app, that worked fine but purchased the pro version due to all of the perks it included. Recently, I had an issue (could not send or receive emails). This was on a weekend, but Marcel responded promptly and patiently. It took until Sunday to work through the issue. The app works well for me; customer service is great too. Give it a try.

I'm so impressed after less than 24 hours! I've ditched several Android email clients in frustration, sometimes after long use, and Fair Email may be the answer. The only flaw I've encountered is also its greatest strength-- customization. There are so many features that I had trouble going back to find a few I had already set! I've already purchased the pro edition, because I need some of its capabilities. Developer is amazingly responsive, but remember he's in The Netherlands time zone.
