I was forced to switch over from my Samsung messages because Samsung sold out to shady a$$ google. I just got the paid version for a ONE TIME CHARGE OF $9.99 & it's worth it! You can use your own pictures from your phone for your background with the paid & they have ALOT of their themes too. This is a great app so far. For the unpaid version, ads are tiny and not really noticeable, with very few themes. I love the paid because it's NOT a monthly subscription, it's a 1 time $9.99 fee.

So far, this is the best texting app I've tried outside of Google Messages. Pros: Shows the name of the contacts in group chats. Options to customize colors and other surface-level components. Simple interface. You can submit suggestions in-app. Developers respond to reviews quickly and helpfully. Cons: Groupchats are named with computer-gibberish. To submit feedback, you make an account which verifies through your email. This was an endless loop and I could not create an account.

Like a lot of Samsung Refugees I tried the Google mess and found this option. Extremely easy to install and begin using. I'm not the most tech savvy person. I still write letters and pay bills with checks. For me this is the best thing to find. Supposedly has ads but I haven't had any yet. Will most likely pay the fee to ensure it stays that way. The migration to this platform has been the simplest and stress free thing in having a new phone. Keep up the good work
