Update - apparently I was on a free trial. Now it's 6.50 or I see adds. The app is good so I'll pay it. At least it's not a subscription. - Best messaging app I've found so far. Love the miminalist UI and total customization control. Totally free with no ads!! I have no issues with this app. It does everything I need it to do. One thing that would be nice to see in an update (definitely not a deal breaker though) is the ability to name group threads?

It's generally a great app, but I have two big issues. Trying to mute conversations, it fails and it immediately crashes without fail. If I go to a message thread from a push notification, swiping back closes the app completely instead of going back to the conversation screen like it should. Still, a decent app. I've used it for years.

Multiple ads trackers in the background , no thanks, uninstalling. I could pay to get rid of the ads which I would have no problem doing, but it would not stop The Trackers! I have excellent apps to let me know when trackers keep on tracking me after I remove ads from various apps. It's a matter of what's being done behind the scenes, so invasive, not my having to look at ads which are an up front deal, not sneaky, as most people don't have the apps that I do that show what's being done.
