Rectango is a calm, beautifully simple logic puzzle for everyone who loves to think. No luck and no guessing: just you, a grid of numbers, and that satisfying moment when everything clicks into place.
HOW TO PLAY
Rectango is based on the classic Japanese puzzle type known as Shikaku, also called Rectangles or Divide by Squares.
- Each puzzle is a grid with numbers scattered across it.
- Divide the whole grid into rectangles.
- Every rectangle must contain exactly one number, and that number must equal its area.
- No overlaps. No gaps. One perfect solution.
Drag to draw a rectangle and tap one to remove it. Correct rectangles are outlined in ink-blue and mistakes glow red, so you always know where you stand.
EVERY PUZZLE HAS EXACTLY ONE SOLUTION
Each grid is checked before you ever see it, so it can always be solved by pure logic. Think it through: the answer is always there.
