2022 marked the 30th anniversary of Dharma Drum Mountain's promotion of "spiritual environmental protection." The Dharma Drum Mountain Spiritual Environmental Protection Learning Center opened at this time (with trial operations beginning in the second half of the year). Coinciding with the new normal of life in the post-pandemic era, the Center upholds the principles of promoting spiritual environmental protection and the practical application of Chinese Chan Buddhism. It offers a series of courses designed for modern urban dwellers, including meditation, Buddhist studies, spiritual growth, and the application of Buddhism in daily life. In addition, it provides diverse activities such as interdisciplinary humanities lectures and workshops, offering modern people comprehensive spiritual nourishment and a "pandemic preparedness package."
