GET STARTED
1. Download the free Libro.fm app.
2. Visit Libro.fm and select your first audiobook.
3. Sign into the app with your Libro.fm account.
4. Download your audiobook(s) and start listening.

I downloaded and listened to one book fine, but now the app won't connect to the servers and load anything new (nothing in the explore tab, no search, nothing except the one book I was able to download before). I've tried while connected to internet, wifi, and both together. I closed the app multiple times, forced it to stop, and even deleted and re-downloaded it. Nothing worked. *Update, the issue mysteriously resolved after over an hour of trying to load. Will update if it happens again.

The app is simple and functional and so far hasn't crashed in a battle with music/podcast apps like audible did. It doesn't do everything audible does but that fine. I don't feel like I give anything up that I miss and am able to get a little more money in the hands of my local bookstore. For some, no whispersync will be a minus but I don't mind finding my place on an e reader like humans used to do with paper books. If I had to pick only one audiobook app, I would choose libro.

Love Libro.fm to death and the app is nearly perfect EXCEPT when I'm finished with a book the mini player (both widget and pull down and the app proper) just flips over back to the beginning and in my haste switching between Libby, Spotify, and Libro.fm I keep starting and stopping books I've finished. 5 stars if the player can be cleared when I'm done reading
