About this app

World Map Address displays your current location on a map together with its address.

You can send the map information (a URL containing latitude and longitude coordinates) and the address by email, making it easy to share your location with family, friends, or colleagues.

You can also save locations to the built-in database, allowing you to keep a record of places you have visited.

■ 1. MAP

The map displays your current location at the center.

Available map types:
• Standard (maximum zoom level 19)
• Satellite (maximum zoom level 19)
• Topographic (maximum zoom level 17)

Satellite mode displays satellite imagery.
Topographic mode displays contour lines and terrain information.

GPS ON
When GPS is ON, your current location is always centered on the map. Even if you move the map manually, it automatically returns to your current location.

GPS OFF
When GPS is OFF, you can freely move and browse the map. The map will not automatically return to your current location.

Speed is displayed in km/h. Because the value is calculated from GPS data, accuracy may vary depending on GPS reception conditions.

[Center]
Turns GPS ON and centers the map on your current location.

[Save]
Saves your current location to the database. This function is available only when GPS is ON.

[Reset]
Displays the Standard map centered on your current location with zoom level 18.

[Mail]
Sends an email containing the current map URL and address, making it easy to share your location with family and friends. This function is available only when GPS is ON.

■ 2. ADDRESS

Displays the following location information:

• Latitude
• Longitude
• Feature Name
• Thoroughfare
• Locality
• Admin Area
• Postal Code
• Country Name
• Country Code

■ 3. SAVED PLACES

Displays a list of saved locations.

Locations can be sorted by:
• Date and Time
• Longitude
• Latitude
• Address

Each tap toggles between ascending and descending order.

[Standard] / [Satellite] / [Topo]
Displays the selected saved location on the corresponding map type.

[DB Export]
Exports the database to the Download folder as:

maprecworld_backup.json

Use this feature for database backups or transferring data to a new device.

[DB Import]
Imports maprecworld_backup.json from the Download folder.

Warning:
Importing data will overwrite the current saved locations list.

■ 4. VIEW MAP

Displays a map of the location selected from the database.
