Like any normal human being you've probably grappled at some point with a mixture of procrastination or smartphone addiction. With smartphones making a huge impact on society in the last few years things have changed for better AND worse. Access to anything is at your fingertips, but this makes it hard to concentrate or maintain self control.

That's why we developed this app - to help curb procrastination, distractions and maintain focus. Detox is a timer designed to stop you from messing around on your phone needlessly. It can even be used as a way to give yourself a digital detox. As a bonus the app also includes an uninstaller! You can also view your session history from the History Screen.

Once you start a timer session the app will check your usage during the period and dissuade you from getting distracted by other apps. It's really easy to start a digital detox, just:

1. Launch the app.
2. Choose a time with the pickers.
3. Hit the padlock-shaped icon and confirm.
4. Study away, without procrastination and distractions.

Great app. Definitely has helped me be more productive, and all the premium features together is really cheap for what it gets me. There are a few ways to bypass it, such as restarting the phone, but it mostly depends on the person on how desperate you are to get into your phone. Would like to see a dark mode for nighttime as well. Overall, it's an awesome app and has made me 10x more productive.

It locks the phone for a certain period but I asked to lock the phone for 3 hours and it's after 1 hour the phone is automatically unlocked. that means it doesn't maintain the timing

this app is really good, but one thing, there has to be absolutely no chance that you can unlock your phone when using this, but there is... so i could easily unlock the phone feature by using the phone notification bar... I recommend locking the phone notification bar when using the app...
