OMG! How this app does not have 6 stars I will never know. Essentially Google sketch up for the phone. Absolutely incredible. Design with prebuilt objects in 2d. A single button press converts it to 3d and you can paint the walls or even apply textured surfaces like bricks or stone. Try it for free, you can get the full version for 10$ too.
Been using the full version for years. This is not a game, but a true design app. The last major updates have been excellent. Thanks for the new furniture and the lengthening feature. I have a couple of easy requests for us here in the states. 1. Bring back the ability to set wall thickness at the beginning of a project. U.S. has 4", 6", and 10" walls. Having to set the thickness of each non-8" wall individually is tedious. 2. Make a frameless window (nonfunctional, just the glass ). 3. Make just a clothes rod for a closet. 4. Make just a plain shelf, straight, unadorned. Thanks, keep up the good work.
Good but could've been greatly . Much more capable than the competitors, plus far superior texturing/furnishing. Easy controls and intuitive. However, doesn't have layers, so each floor is an independent project so walls cannot be positioned with reference to supporting walls below. Also, snap-to is only for 90° angles, not for 45° or other user-defined angles. Finally, it crashes often (especially when altering the thickness of angled walls) and loses all your work, so not so usable. Finally, no provision for angled roofs (attic apartments), but then again, no apps I've seen are capable of this, so I can't really list this as a minus.
This is a nice app and fairly easy to use. Seems once I get more detail on a plan the app freezes and I can't go any farther. Also there are options for stairs yet no option to create multiple floors. If these two issues were addressed I'd definitely give 5 stars
Simply awesome. The home design app category is filled with underpowered lameness, but not this one. It's a brilliant app. Effortlessly switch back and forth from 3d to 2d to walk through. If you pay for it, you'll get all the textures etc you need. Well done developers. My only feature request is the ability to import a 2d image of a floor plan to use as a semi transparent overlay or underlay to build on. Would make renovating existing buildings a lot easier.
Print option doesn't work at all on my chromebook plus. Even getting the dropdown to work right can be a little glitchy. When I try to share to a printer I just get a dark screen with a tabe at top center that says "Share project" and when I tap on it, nothing happens. Happy to give it 5 stars if that can be fixed. The app itself is pretty darn cool for the price. Any ability to add roofs coming?
