LYZO © lists data from the health inspections of the water distributed in all municipalities in France.
Water analyses are complex and often difficult to understand. LYZO simplifies their interpretation and allows you to consume tap water more wisely.
You will know the water quality in your municipality (sometimes updated only a few days ago) as well as the history of health inspections over the past 12 months.
Whether on vacation, in a camper van, at a restaurant, or at drinking water points, you will know the water quality of different municipalities.
If you use tap water to prepare your baby's bottle, you will know if there are any consumption restrictions.
Does your water have hard water? Is a water softener necessary? How much salt should I use in my dishwasher? LYZO will inform you about the lime content.
You'll easily find out if pesticides are being tested for in your water, as well as the nitrate content.
The app is free, independent, and ad-free.
■ HEALTH INFORMATION ■
LYZO uses a simple color code to indicate the quality of your tap water: compliant (green), non-compliant (yellow/orange), restricted (red), restricted (black). For each analysis, you'll see the health conclusion and detailed measurements (nitrate, pesticide, lead, etc.).
What do turbidity, calcium-carbonate, metabolite, and THM mean?
To better understand your water quality, a dynamic glossary explains the vocabulary used in health conclusions.
An additional visualization may indicate recommendations:
- Let the water run before drinking
- Boil the water before drinking
- The water may have an unpleasant odor, color, or taste
- Reconsider the use of selenium-based dietary supplements
Other features:
- Add municipalities to favorites (main residence, vacation spots, family, etc.)
- You can track the evolution of several hundred parameters of your choice (pH, temperature, pesticides, etc.) over the last 5 years.
- View the details of analysis parameters with a color-coded visualization to easily display exceedance thresholds.
- For each municipality in a department, easily access information on water hardness (limescale).
You can access the number of analyses by department or as a percentage with a color-coded breakdown.
■ OFFICIAL DATA - WATER QUALITY ■
LYZO uses public data from the Ministry of Solidarity and Health - Original data: https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/resultats-du-controle-sanitaire-de-leau-distribuee-commune-par-commune/
Water analysis data is updated monthly after a one-month delay by the Ministry of Solidarity and Health (e.g., February data is available in early April).
LYZO is not an official application of the Ministry of Solidarity and Health. Water usage restriction measures are communicated by the Regional Health Agency (ARS) in your region and/or your town hall.
