A picture sleeps in the grid. It wakes up one cell at a time.

Codigrid is a logic colouring game. Every cell of the grid carries a coded symbol — a number to read, a shape to place. Pick a symbol, fill its cells, and the drawing you don't know yet rises slowly under your hand.

It isn't just another paint-by-numbers: the subject stays hidden until you've painted it. Nobody tells you what you are drawing — that's the whole game. No timer, no score: one cell, then the next, and the picture arrives.

• Never the same sheet twice. Geometric shapes, ASCII characters, engraver's hatching, dice pips, pointillist pigments: each alphabet redraws the same picture in another script, with its own texture and its own gesture. You come back for that as much as for the picture.

• The gesture is gentle. Lock a symbol, sweep your finger across the sheet: its cells fill in as you pass over them, the rest are ignored. A sweep can never be a mistake.

• Never lost. The cells left to fill are flagged, and when not one is in view, an arrow points to the nearest ones.
