There are apps that tell you where to go. And then there's Trackisi, which truly accompanies you, before you leave, during your activity, and all the way back home.
Designed for hikers and cyclists, Trackisi combines in a single app what most tools spread across five features: navigation, safety, route editing, trip memories, and group rides.
Trackisi will be (or already is!) available on Google Play. The app is free for its core functions.
Come back safe: safety at the heart of the app
This is the feature that drove everything else. Whether hiking or cycling, the unexpected happens at any time.
With Trackisi, if you run into trouble:
Alert emergency services and send your GPS coordinates in 10 seconds, without searching for a signal or stumbling over your address on your phone.
Your loved ones can follow you live, without having to send you hourly texts to reassure everyone.
Automatic alerts are triggered if you're inactive for an extended period: if you stop moving and don't respond, the app will notify you.
Never lose a memory of your outing again
Your GPS tracks and geotagged photos are automatically saved to the cloud. Whether you change phones, accidentally uninstall the app, or even drop your phone in a river (it happens!), your outings remain accessible.
Even better: Trackisi transforms your walk photos into automatically generated, annotated animated slideshows and albums, allowing you to share your outings like a true travel journal, without spending an evening editing.
Go with others, stay together
Group outings are often where coordination becomes complicated: who's in front, who's lagging behind, who's strayed from the route?
Trackisi keeps it simple: a "captain" organizes the outing, and up to 24 "followers" can join. Everyone can see the real-time location of all the others, and any member can trigger an alert to the entire group if there's a problem.
Create your own routes
Trackisi includes a route editor and generator, usable on both mobile and PC, with export and import in GPX format, compatible with your usual tools and the files you already have.
Never miss a thing along the way
Points of interest are displayed directly on the map, and you can branch off your route mid-way for an impromptu detour: a fountain, a viewpoint, a mountain hut.
And because the mountains don't always give warnings either: real-time weather alerts warn you before the weather changes.
