About this app

Stop cramming. Start remembering.

Review is a smarter way to study. Unlike flashcard apps, Review works with the material you already have—textbook chapters, lecture notes, video courses, or any topic you want to master.

Just add what you're studying, and the app handles the rest.

───────────────────────

📚 HOW IT WORKS

1️⃣ Add Your Topics
Add anything you want to remember: "Chapter 4: The Nervous System," "Lecture 12: Graph Theory," or "Unit 3: Ancient India." Organize by project for complete control.

2️⃣ Study Your Way
Open your textbook, watch your lecture, or review your notes—however you prefer. Review reminds you what to study and when.

3️⃣ Mark Your Progress
After each session, rate your confidence: Relearn, Hard, Good, or Easy. The algorithm adapts and calculates your perfect next review date.

4️⃣ Build Long-Term Memory
Topics progress from Unseen → Learning → Developing → Mastered. Watch your knowledge grow over time.

───────────────────────

🧠 THE SCIENCE BEHIND IT

Studies show we forget up to 90% of what we learn within a week. This is called the "Forgetting Curve."

Spaced repetition fights this natural decay by scheduling reviews at the exact moment before you forget—so you spend less time on what you already know and more time mastering what you don't.

Review uses a state-of-the-art algorithm that adapts to you, analyzing your review history and topic difficulty to calculate the optimal next review.

Not bad. However, I wish the notes supported markdown for advanced formatting, and that pasting long notes into the web app didn't break the interface. As a workaround, I put Notion links in the task notes, but this experience could also be improved, since the links aren't recognized as clickable, so I'm forced to copy and paste them manually for revision. Overall, it has immense potential with vast room for improvement.

Thanks for the feedback! The notes section was never really designed for long notes, just comments like page numbers of a textbook ect. This is a good idea though, in the future I'll add in support to directly link to notion ect.

Great concept, but the spaced-repetition logic needs improvement. Currently, the app only checks the last review date. If a user misses several days, the interval still increases, which doesn’t match real forgetting behavior. For example, if I study just once and then don’t touch it for many days, the app still moves the next review far into the future, assuming I remember everything. This makes revision intervals unrealistic. update : wow you made changes and here is your 5star 👌

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I've just released a completely rewritten version of the app which has upgraded to the FSRS algorithm which is much better for these kind of situations. Let me know if there's anything else I can do.

This does what it say, an spaced repetition calender. Ads free, generous free tier. Feature Request: Calendar Integration, Markdown support.
